One key belief
at OnTech Computers is that technology should be interesting. One of our
aims is to collect interesting technology in the store, whether we've
purchased it or maybe even built it ourselves. This page is our online
showcase of some of the Cool Stuff! we've displayed in
the store recently.

The Aqua PC was
built in the store by Rob (of OnTech Computers). It features a fully functional
computer running in a fishtank. There is a bubbler on the left hand side,
and LEDs showcase the rest of the hardware. But is it actually water? Watch

This PC was featured
on CKCO News (local to Kitchener), and also on Canada AM. In fact, we were
very proud to be the top-featured video in Jeff's Videos
on the Canda AM homepage for five days!

The Aqua PC is definitely not filled with mineral water,
but mineral oil!
USB
Hubs allow you to extend the number of USB connections you can plug into
your computer. They come in many intriguing designs. Here are some of the
ones we've had in the store:
USB Engine is a 3 port hub which revs and drives off into the sunset
when you plug it in. Can't wait for the reactions in the office!
The
4 Port Cup Warmer keeps your drinks warm when you're working
for hours on end. It looks great too!
The USB
Fridge is really popular in the summer. It holds one soda can,
and chills the can all day long. (No, it won't hold a beer can!) It features
a blue LED inside to properly display the cooling can, a magnetically sealed
door to cool the can more effectively.
